Sunday Sketchbook
Happy Sunday morning! This week I’ve come across a few really exciting resources I wanted to share with you, perfect for in-bed browsing with a coffee - it’s cultural so it’s definitely not lazy to stay in bed that extra hour…
V and A Collections
If you are having V and A withdrawal symptoms like me I have good news for you, they now have a snazzy new digital platform where you can browse 1.2 million pieces from their collection! I saw this glass piece in real life at Collect a couple of years ago and it really blew me away. Happy browsing!
KFM Architects
Regular follows of my work will know I love a bit of beautiful architecture and I discovered the account of architecture firm Kirkland Fraser Moor this week, it’s full of beautiful building designs and some really cool architectural models. Check them out on instagram here.
Designs On Silver
I love finding out about other creatives processes so I’m really looking forward to getting stuck into this online exhibition from Goldsmiths Fair about design drawings. Drawing is a really important part of my process, but I also find that pieces evolve as you take them into 3D so I’m really interested to see how that works for other designers.
From The Studio
This week I’ve been working on wholesale orders including this for the National Gallery featuring these bespoke disc drop studs in silver and teal. I really hope I get a chance to go up to London and see them there in real life, I still get a bit fan girl when I see my work in a museum!
