Create Your Own Eco-friendly Stone Jewellery

Join me in my garden studio for a Bristol based Jesmonite jewellery making workshop. With 10 years experience making jewellery professionally, I use my experience to help you create something beautiful.

What you’ll learn

We’ll get the kettle on for tea, proper coffee and home made biscuits as I demonstrate different processes to help fire up your creative juices and get the best out of this material before you get into designing.

What can I make?

Choose to make stud earrings, earring charms or necklaces, in 8 different shapes. As for colour and pattern - the sky is the limit! Once you are happy with the designs you’d like to make, I’ll be on hand every step of the way as you cast your 4 pieces of jewellery.

What will I take home?

The final step of the process needs to happen at least 24 hours later to allow the stone composite to set so we’ll practice on some older pieces and you’ll receive your 4 designs in the post with all the equipment you need, ready to finish.

You will:

  • Make four pieces of jewellery in this 2.5 hour workshop

  • Learn about stone composite and how to use this amazing material for jewellery making

  • Spend some time designing your jewellery to get the best results for your final pieces

  • Prepare a mould with different types of findings and make earrings or necklace pendants

  • Mix and dye the composite to create your own unique colours

  • Learn three different casting techniques - apply them to your pieces to create a range of patterns

  • Discover how to sand and seal your jewels to create beautiful finished pieces

£49 per person.

I host workshops on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings in my garden studio - top tip: come with your friends and book out the whole workshop for a 15% discount.

Workshop Reviews

Emma V

We had a great time learning how to make Jesmonite jewellery. Vicky was very helpful and knowledgeable, the garden studio was lovely.

Rachel C

It was a gift for me and my daughters. We had a lovely time. I was a bit worried about the design phase, but Vicky gave us plenty of ideas and we could really take our time sketching out and asking questions about what might work etc. I am looking forward to receiving the finished items in the post.

Liv S

I had a great time being creative with a load of strangers. Vicky was a brilliant teacher and we all left with an appreciation for what she does! Looking forward to receiving our final pieces as they needed to be set before we could finish, but with clear instruction I feel confident to finish them at home. Great value for money, as we get 4 pairs of earrings!

Where is the workshop hosted?

The workshop is hosted in my garden studio in Easton, Bristol. The space holds up to three guests at my light flooded bench.

You can book to come individually and meet some other crafting fans or save 15% and book all three places in the workshop for you and your friends.

If you come in the evening there is usually a cheeky glass of wine on offer, on Saturday mornings, they’ll be home baked biscuits and Radical Roasters coffee.

I’m interested in hosting a crafting party or crafty hen do…

This workshop is portable and I can teach up to 10 people myself or 20 with an assistant making it perfect for larger groups.

If you are hosting a Bristol hen party I can also find a suitable venue if you don’t want to host in your air bnb or hotel and arrange nibbles and drinks.

If you’d like to enquire about arranging a workshop for a larger group, get in touch with your requirements below…
