Jesmonite

Around 6 years ago I imagined a pastel coloured, geometric stone for my next collection, and discovered Jesmonite. The version I use is a stone composite, so it’s made from a fine stone aggregate of natural minerals and a solvent and VOC free resin. It’s designed for use in architecture so it is lightweight, impact resistant and durable in all weather conditions. The resin element is water based and non-toxic so it’s much kinder to the environment than traditional resin or concrete.

Stainless Steel

Hardwearing and non-reactive, Stainless Steel is a great option for everyday jewellery. It’s a slightly darker grey than silver but otherwise is similar in appearance. I love contrasting it with warm toned Jesmonite to bring out the best of each material. Stainless Steel is around 60% recycled and doesn’t tarnish like most other metals used for jewellery. Our Stainless Steel chains are made in the UK.

Brass

With a beautiful warm colour and great eco credentials, brass is one of the most popular materials I use. Brass is a recycled alloy of copper and zinc, and is widely used for jewellery. With care your brass jewellery will last for many years as unlike cheap plating the colour won’t wear off. Like silver, brass needs polishing from time to time to keep it in it’s best condition. When you receive a brass piece from us, it has a microcrystalline wax coating to slow down oxidisation, and an anti tarnish pouch to keep it in keeping polishing to a minimum. We also give you a polish pad for when your piece does need a little TLC. Our Brass chains are made ethically in Europe and assembled in the UK.

Eco Silver

We use 100% recycled sterling silver for our pieces, known as eco silver and now widely available for jewellery. Silver has a beautiful white shine, which makes it an all time favourite for special pieces. Your silver piece will need care and polishing from time to time. We include an anti tarnish pouch and polish pad to help you keep your piece in perfect condition. Our silver chains are made in the UK from recycled metal.
